For nearly forty years, Rustrak has been the most comprehensive strip chart line in the industry for any application requiring accurate and dependable recording of trend data. Rustrak's tree types of recorders: galvanometric, event, and servo record data by making an impression on pressure sensitive chart paper. Recording occurs on the galvanometric models when the exclusive patented Rustrak mechanical Striker bar presses the stylus against the chart. This action initiates a dot printing at a rate depending on the chart drive motor chosen. The servo and event recorder stylii are in direct contact with the chart paper at all times for quiet and continuous recording.

The small, compact size makes the Rustrak the ideal choice for both portable applications and for areas were space is limited. Recorders can be packaged in one or two configurations and can be supplied with fixed ranges, dedicated to a particular recording task, or with plug-in signal conditioners on servo recorders for more flexibility. Applications for the world's most versatile recorder are limited only by the imagination.

Standard Input Impedance
A wide selection of Rustrak dc recorders permit full scale measurments of voltages from 1 mV to 500 V and currents from 1 A to 1000 A. By the addition of internal amplifications or external shunts, both the low and high ends of these ranges can be extended.

Model 288 Single Channel & Model 291 Dual Channel

Model 288, the recorder requested most often by users and OEM's. Measures dc voltage and dc current.
Model 288/ 0-1 mA, CSA approved if specified.
Model 291 has two analog channels within a single channel recorder case. Both are isolated and combinations of range or function are possible.

Water Pollution Monitoring
Recorders and data loggers are being used, both indoors and out, to monitor current, flow, temperature, turbity, and other variables such as TOC, pH, and ORP. Rustrak recorders can be found mounted on poles, submerged in water, on board ships or transported in containers to provide crucial data in monitoring our water resources.

Process Control
Rustrak recorders are used in many applications involving automated control and production of material. They record, log, and report temperature, flow, RPM, power consumption, pressure, and other variables involved in process measurement. At the maintenance level, recorders are used for detecting excessive power consumption in motor start-ups, ac current loading, ac voltage fluctuations; and the monitoring of energy conservation equipment.
