The ALM-1 will alert you to pump failures including loss of prime, empty supply tank, broken suction tubing, ruptured Liquifram®, and clogged check valves. The alarm unit connects quickly to LMI's Digi-Pulse® Flow Monitor, which provides one signal pulse for each pump discharge stroke. The ALM-1 contains an adjustable and resettable time delay module. Pulses from the Digi-Pulse,® reset the unit and are indicated by the pulse indicator LED on the front panel. If a pulse is not received within the time period you select (15 seconds to 5 minutes) the alarm relay is triggered. In this mode, the ALM-1 can trigger computer systems, autodialers, pagers, alarm lights, audible alarms, and/or back-up pumps. The powered relay contacts have the capacity to handle electrical loads up to 10 amps (resistive). Wiring is very simple by use of the insulated terminal strip inside the enclosure.
